The Idea of the recording project La Dolce Vista has been supported since the beginning by the desire to relive and contextualize the music of the court of Federico da Montefeltro in the original settings of the Urbino Renaissance. The intrinsic role that this music played in life at the Palace, inspired the artistis to look for a relationship between this settings and the music composed and performed therein. In this sense the possibility to play and to record coeval compositionsdirectly related to the life of Federico, finds in yhese venues the greatest coherence as much nin terms of this ideal relationship as for it's loyalty to the original acousic effect.
